Norway to Utah

We had a five hour layover in Chicago. During that time we met a sister who was headed to the MTC in Provo. She was from England and guess where she was going to be serving, NORWAY! Also, another sister was just returning to Utah after having served her mission in Madagascar. We traveled the rest of the way home together. It was great!
We left Stavanger by train and traveled to Drammen where we were picked up by this couple. Elder Humphrey baptized her when he was a young missionary. Her name is Gerd Pedersen.

Salt Lake airport upon our arrival. We were greeted by two of our daughters and three of our granddaughters. They had made a very festive welcome home sign!

The train station in Stavanger. We drove our car from Haugesund to Stavanger and then gave our car to the Elders and boarded the train to continue our trek home. A picture at the station shows us with four Elders that we had grown to love and a couple from Stavanger that Elder Humphrey knew from his first mission. Sister Peterson was a young girl when he served the first time in Norway.
